Attempted theft from a vehicle - John Lea Way, Wellingborough

We are appealing for information after an attempted theft from a car in John Lea Way, Wellingborough.

The attempted theft occurred between 3.05am & 3.10am on Tuesday 30th December 2025. The vehicle was entered, searched, but nothing was stolen.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to this incident, or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. Please call us on 101 quoting reference number25000759680 or report to us online here.

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
